Unconditional Love

Day 15

This guy right here is the best lap dog ever. Just don’t tell him he’s a dog. His love for his family is so strong, and our love for him is just as strong. Nothing beats coming home to hugs and kisses from someone that is so happy to see you and spend time with you. He is quite the faithful companion, whether it is on a drive, watching TV, going for a run, or maybe even a froyo date, he doesn’t care, just as long as he is with his family. 💜

Bucket Filled

Day 14

Today I came in to work to find this note from a student on my desk. I take my job very seriously, these kids are not just any kids, they’re MY kids. So finding this… these words that I know are spoken from the heart of this student… filled my bucket today. It is a note I will cherish always, as a reminder of why I do this job, and exactly who I do it for.

Day 13

The city is a beautiful place to visit and explore, but I don’t think I could live I mean truly thrive in the busyness of a place that is never actually quiet. I think I would go mad if I couldn’t shut the noise out.

Today, I am thankful for the slow paced, quietness of our small town home that affords me the opportunity to shut the world out and process the thoughts in my head.

Yachats

My husband planned a quick trip to the beach after a weekend of racing. This beach is my favorite on the Oregon coast.

Usually when I’m walking on the beach, I pray a lot, sing praise songs, and look for agates. Today not only did I find an agate, but it’s a 💗 shaped agate.

I am so thankful for this trip and my time with God, on His beach.

Father in Law

Day 10

I am so blessed to call this man my Father in Law. He raised my husband and has played a part in raising our boys. His unconditional love is evident in his faithfulness to always be present in our lives.

These past seven months, he has been my companion at just about every race. He is so supportive and a key part of this adventure we call TnT Motorsports. I am so thankful for this man who has blessed my life beyond measure.

TnT Motorsports

Day 9

It is so hard to explain how much this sport means to me. My boys grew up going to watch the races as a family activity. So much fun and great memories of those times. This year, our Schoonover Tribe has become TnT Motorsports#12.

So many memories, adventures, relationships built, and lessons learned. And so many more to come…for this I am grateful.

Tribe

Day 8

My Tribe, my boys, my heart….words can not express just how thankful I am for these guys that make me crazy, make me laugh, make me cry and fill my life with dishes, dirty laundry, mud, and lot’s and LOT’S of  love and adventures.  I am so thankful to call these boys mine!wordswag_1541723221978.png

My Jam

Day 6

I have been somewhat regularly working out for the last nine months. I say somewhat because I have missed a week here and there. While I don’t see a lot of changes in my appearance, I feel stronger both physically and mentally.

Being a person who battles depression, I am thankful for the benefits of pushing myself do do just one more rep or challenge myself to lift a little heavier weight and even though I haven’t reached my weight loss goals, I’m gaining confidence, so I will press on.

Today, I’m thankful for the body God has blessed me with, and the endurance to keep running the race.

Let’s be clear though, I’m not actually running…just walking quickly.
